TONY NOMINATIONS ANNOUNCED...

And..."The Coast of Utopia" recieved 10 nominations including Billy's for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Play. Congratulations!

The other nominees are Ethan Hawke (also for "The Coast of Utopia") Anthony Chisholm, John Earl Jelks and Stark Sands. The ceremony will be on Sunday June 10th.

The Outer Critics Circle awards were announced yesterday and "The Coast of Utopia" won in 6 categories. Billy was nominated for Outstanding Featured Actor but lost out to Boyd Gaines (Journey’s End) who recieved a Tony nomination in the leading actor category this time.

The Drama League Awards were presented on Friday, the Distinguished Production of a Play award went to "The Coast of Utopia", while the Distinguished Performance Award, in which Billy was nominated among many other actors, went to Liev Schreiber. A fun note is the Broadway Show League: "A 50+ year tradition, the league brings out thousands of actors and crew members, who play against each other every Thursday afternoon." Billy was part of "The Coast of Utopia" team on last Thursday and they defeated "Spring Awakening", so you have to see it to believe it.
