WATCHMEN CAST REVEALED, DEDICATION TRAILER & ANOTHER PROJECT "PRETTY BIRD"

WATCHMEN FOR 2009: This was one of the most anticipated news to be announced in the current Comic-Con. The Watchmen movie will be released on March 6, 2009 and has a website as well.

Billy Crudup is going to play Dr. Manhattan, the only superhero character in the comic series with superhuman powers.

The developing of the character according to director Zack Snyder is: ”The idea for the Manhattan character — when he becomes Manhattan he’s going to be a full CG version of Billy [Crudup], ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’-style. The last thing I want is to see some guy with blue paint.”

UPCOMING PROJECT "PRETTY BIRD": Variety has reports that Billy's next film project is "Pretty Bird", written and directed by actor Paul Schneider , however its imdb profile hasn't updated more on the casting at the moment. According to Variety, production starts on August 1st.
